The district needed a rim that would last on some of the toughest playgrounds in the country. A static load of 1,000 lbs. was applied to the outermost point of the ring without any permanent deformation. Deflection under this pressure was measured at 1 1/4". Two steel rings (3/4" and 1/2") are welded together and reinforced with 3/16" wing plates and a 5/8" x 15" brace. Back plate measuring 8" x 7" features hole spacing to fit most boards; upper holes are reinforced with a seven gauge, 1 1/2" plate. Complete with GGN nylon net. Includes mounting hardware.
