The fame is made of heavy wall schedule 40 aluminum pipe that is 1 5/8" diameter. Frame and wheel assemblies are welded for durability. Permanent 8" semi-pneumatic wheels for easy transport. Netting is #36 nylon weather treated, 1 3/4" mesh. Netting is fabricated in pillow case designs that slips over the frame. Lacing is only required at the bottom to close the net. ATEC’s® new Backyard Batting Cage has it all…functional design, durable, high-strength materials, quick and easy setup, is great for indoor or outdoor use and even lightweight portability if desired. And it’s the perfect size for use just about anywhere. The 40 ft. long net is 10 ft. wide and 10 ft. high. It is constructed using a rugged #21, 1 3/4” black polyester mesh treated for weather and UV resistance. It is trimmed with 1/4” black nylon rope for added strength and support where it is needed most. The installation kit includes the frame corners (4) and unions (6), white leg caps (10) for safe use indoors and quick-link connectors (6) for suspending the net internally to the frame. All corners and unions are 1 1/2” welded steel tube with a durable powder-coat finish for long wear. You buy the net and install kit, then simply pick up the frame materials at your local hardware supply.
