Gill rolled aluminum discus cages are fabricated from 2 1⁄2" (2 7/8") schedule 40 pipe size aluminum tube. Ground sleeves are schedule 40 PVC pipe and will not rust. Cages employ a vinyl coated steel net support cable to reduce net sag, ensuring maximum net height.Gill Athletics' NCAA Discus Cages can be installed in two different pole layouts. The standard wide mouth layout matches the cage dimensions as shown in the 2005 NCAA rules. The new narrow mouth layout takes into account the new 34.92 degree sector and greatly reduces the area outside the landing sector that an errant thrown discus can land in while not impeding a good throw. For new construction, the NCAA recommends a narrower cage mouth. The net is constructed of 320 lb test, 42A knotless weather treated nylon. Both layouts utilize eight 14' tall net poles and the same main net. Replacement net and barrier net are available for this cage.Please Note: This item CANNOT ship to P.O.
