This concept consists of a blend of foam densities to provide a functional foam core for both comfort and safety. Base unit's sides and bottoms are made with tough 18 oz. reinforced vinyl, coated on both sides for longevity. ("Important", some other brands are coated only on one side; these brands will not be as long lasting) The top of each base pad is made with a vinyl coated mesh breather fabric, which allows the air to be expelled upon impact. Each base pad unit is designed to channel the air compression through the foam system, slowing the deceleration of the athlete to provide a comfortable landing. We use heavy duty webbing handles, double stitching and nylon non-oxidizing zippers on every model and size. All stitching is performed with a strong nylon thread, all snaps sewn on base pads to match the 2" top pad. All systems are provided with a top comfort-landing pad that is made of 2" foam polyurethane. It is then enclosed in a tough vinyl mesh. Each system is available in two colors at no extra charge; standard colors are Royal Blue, Red, Yellow, Orange, Brown, Burgundy, Tan, Maroon, and Green.Our Pole Vaulting Systems are designed to provide maximum performance and protection with our new 16'6" behind the vault box systems. With personal records skyrocketing higher and higher each year, the need for our new designed Pole Vaulting System will meet today's rules as well as those needed in the years to come. All systems provide more than 16'6" of landing area behind the back of the vaulting box. (Note: the need for perimeter padding is required and necessary if hard and unyielding surfaces are exposed around or in the back of the system.) Our vaulting box "Y" cut-out provides the most protection available while at the same time providing room for full penetration of the bending of the pole. Bright breather mesh material around the box cut-out provides an easy to see planting area. Our Pole Vault landing system is available in the following sizes: 17'0" behind the box and 16'6" behind the box.
