The Three-Point Stationary Wall Mount system incorporates a direct-goal- attachment that transfers the load of heavy play through the backboard to the structure. The entire backstop is unitized with 1/4" x 1" tension straps. 4/0 upper safety chains with heavy malleable turnbuckles provide additional support. Telescopic design allows for complete adjustability and ease of installation. Structural wood mounting pads included. Mounting hardware for the backboard is not included. The district needed a rim that would last on some of the toughest playgrounds in the country. A static load of 1,000 lbs. was applied to the outermost point of the ring without any permanent deformation. Deflection under this pressure was measured at 1 1/4". Two steel rings (3/4" and 1/2") are welded together and reinforced with 3/16" wing plates and a 5/8" x 15" brace. Back plate measuring 8" x 7" features hole spacing to fit most boards; upper holes are reinforced with a seven gauge, 1 1/2" plate. Complete with GGN nylon net. Includes mounting hardware.
