The Quick Connect TM System includes the specially designed backboard and goal Quick ConnectTM Mounting Plates and Cart The Quick ConnectTM system allows the user to remove and install a backboard and goal in less than three minutes, a task that may typically take in excess of 30 minutes without it It is a great tool for emergency and normal maintenance of portable basketball backstops because it reduces down time caused by the replacement of either a defective backboard or goal Using the Quick ConnectTM System to remove/install backboards and goals quickly and safely, multipurpose gymnasium operators can now store their basketball portable backstops in areas with narrow entry ways for a more effective use of the facilities.The Quick ConnectTM mounting plates are factory installed and must be purchased with the portable units The cart can be purchased at any time, but for best results we recommend that they are purchased together One Quick ConnectTM Cart can service multiple portable basketball backstops.Steps to Remove AND REPLACE (REINSTALL) A Backboard & Goal Using the GARED® Quick ConnectTM System. This process takes approximately three to five minutes.Lower and secure portable boom to rest position.Wheel Quick ConnectTM Cart in front and under backboard.Raise backboard until it sits securely on Quick Connect cart.Disconnect upper braces from backboard.Rotate braces out of the way.Disconnect and remove holding pins from backboard Quick Connect mounting platesRaise cart until backboard comes off hinges.Lean backboard forward unit it sits securely on cart.Wheel cart to storage.To install a backboard and goal with the GARED Quick Connect System reverse steps 1 - 9.1 Year Limited Warranty |
