The wide variable magnification range of these binoculars allows the viewer to target in on an object and then zoom in and magnify it to obtain a closer look and see greater detail. The new 20-40x180 model features a braced-in tripod mounting post for added stability. Both new models feature high quality prisms, multi-coated optics, large center focus knob and right eyepiece diopter adjustment. For convenience, all models also feature a zoom thumb lever for making quick and smooth zoom adjustments as well as fold-down eyecups for viewing with or without eyeglasses. Made with northwest Douglas Fir, these staffs are carved with a twist the entire length, then finished in Natural, Black or Cherry and fitted with a leather wrist strap and rubber tip. The Laminated Version has strips of Walnut in it. From the ground up, the Discovery Series sticks have been designed for good looks, exquisite design, outdoor performance, light weight and substantial tensile strength. The result is one of the most unusual walking sticks on the market. Whistle Creek starts with select kiln-dried Douglas Fir, allow for a roomy grip, then carve a striking double-helix twist starting just below the hand-hold, tapering down to the rubber tip. Awesome! Each Discovery stick is 55" tall and available in one of three stains or laminated with American walnut. Whistle Creek polishes them off with a luscious coat of varnish, leather wrist strap and durable rubber tip.
